2025-26 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey is the start of this season's flagship line. Two more installments will eventually follow (Series 2 and Extended Series), but this is where things get started. This includes the Young Guns rookie cards as well as some familiar inserts like UD Canvas and UD Portraits.

While some things change from year to year, Upper Deck Hockey has its traditions. It starts with the basic set, which is another 250-card affair.

The last 50 are the cornerstone of the Young Guns subset, which showcases a variety of rookies. That said, due to the series' early release, collectors shouldn't expect 2025 draft picks or Opening Night debuts until the next series. The focus is on the rookies of the 2024-25 season.

Young Guns are distributed every other pack, or six per hobby box.
